  After falling in love withTandem Bakery on Instagram we arranged to go on the first Saturday we had free which was last Saturday 13th May 2017. We arrived and where told to sit down quickly as tables go quick...No hi, how are you just sit down quick. My partner went to grab a table whilst I stayed in line to get us a few drinks to start. "Are you eating or drinking with us today", "both please" I replied. The lady at the till proceeded to tell me to again "better order quick as this is all that's left and we have baby shower up stairs who have priority". So I looked back at my partner and said what would you like, she said quiche and salad please, "sorry gone" the lady replied. Right we will have a chicken baguette "sorry no that's for upstairs, this is all that's left now" (the lady pointed to what looked like a half eaten Pea and Feta Quiche and a sausage roll) We had what was left with potatoes as they didn't have SALAD....
  
  All the food was there but we weren't allowed any of it is how that came across. Within two minutes we basically regretted coming having been told to sit down and order food we didn't want because the food we did want was for someone else.
  
  We went back onto instagram to make sure we had the right place, we travelled from Worcester for this and it wasn't like anything in the photos we had seen online. No big luxurious cakes or nice looking baguettes anywhere, just manic staff treading on each others toes shouting at people to eat things they didn't want to eat.
  
  Judging from other reviews it looks a bit hit and miss.
  
  Really disappointed with the day out, won't be going again. Glad we didn't bring our friends.
  
  The food we had cost us £17.20 and it was for food we didn't even want.
  
  As a small business owner myself I would be completely embarrassed if a customer had gone through this experience in my business.

  Very nice staff, though a little dippy.
  Any of the food is lovely, they make very nice pastry.
  The coffee is nice so is the tea (loose) according to my wife.
  The prices are average.

  Lovely place but i was a little disappointed. It took some time to be acknowledged by a staff member and i was next in the line. I found the lad serving to be cold in his approach. I think it mist have been a long day.
  
  I asked if there was seating upstairs and the lady said she couldnt possibly say which was strange.
  
  I ordered a baguette which was nice but it came with nothing on the plate. No salad or crisps. For the price i expected something.
